Home Instruction

Students will be placed on home instruction in accordance with New Jersey Administrative Code 6A:14-4.8 and 6A:16-10.1 & 10.2

In general, a student is eligible for Home Instruction when there is an identified temporary or chronic health condition for 10 consecutive or 15 cumulative days and/or the student has been suspended.  For students that are ill, the parent must submit written documentation from a physician attesting to the need for confinement at the student’s residence.

Home Instructors are asked to submit the following documents upon completion of home instruction services.

• Payroll Voucher (see attached
• Summary Report (see attched)
• Lesson Plans

Submission of incorrect documenation will result in non-payment.
